Nigerian football fans and supporters worldwide are celebrating today following the official confirmation of the Victor Osimhen second child. The Super Eagles and Galatasaray striker has joyfully welcomed a baby girl named Liora Audrey with his long time partner, Stefanie Kim Ladewig.
The highly anticipated news was formally announced on Thursday by the Turkish Süper Lig champions. Galatasaray released an official statement across their global digital channels to congratulate their star forward and his growing family on the safe delivery.
Galatasaray’s official media dispatch read: “Our Football A Team player Victor Osimhen and Stefanie have welcomed a baby girl into the world. We congratulate the couple Victor and Stefanie; we wish their newborn baby Liora Audrey a long, healthy, and happy life!” This public acknowledgement highlights the strong bond between the player and his current club management.

Expanding the Family: Hailey Welcomes a Little Sister
The safe arrival of Liora Audrey marks a massive personal milestone for the 27-year-old Nigerian international. She is the couple’s second daughter, joining their firstborn, Hailey, who was welcomed into the world in October 2022. Close sources indicate that the family is thrilled to give Hailey a younger sibling to grow up with.
Furthermore, the successful delivery brings a wave of immense relief to the family and fans alike. It follows worrying reports from just a few weeks earlier indicating that Stefanie was involved in a minor multi-vehicle collision in Istanbul while heavily pregnant. Fortunately, emergency responders confirmed she emerged from the incident entirely unharmed, ensuring the pregnancy progressed safely to full term.
A Pride of Nigeria: Balancing Club and Country Duties
Beyond his club duties, Osimhen’s latest personal joy adds to a rapidly growing legacy on the international stage. As one of the most prominent Nigerian footballers of his generation, his journey from starring for the Nigeria Under 17 in 2015 to leading the frontline for the senior Super Eagles remains a deep source of national pride.
He continues to be the cornerstone of the Nigerian national team setup. Despite the pressures of expanding his family, Osimhen has consistently shouldered the attacking responsibilities for the Super Eagles in crucial international qualifiers, African Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournaments, and World Cup qualification campaigns.
Elite Form on the Pitch Amidst Personal Joy
From a sports analytics perspective, this off-pitch stability perfectly coincides with Osimhen’s dominant run of form since his high-profile loan move from Napoli to Galatasaray. Elite athletes frequently channel significant personal milestones into heightened professional focus. Osimhen’s rapid and seamless adaptation to the intense atmosphere of Turkish football serves as a prime example of this psychological boost.
With an impressive tally of goals and assists in just a handful of appearances across all competitions this season, the striker remains entirely focused. His recent brace against local rivals Fenerbahçe proved his unmatched quality. He is actively aiming to secure both domestic and European silverware for the Istanbul giants, cementing his status as one of the most lethal attackers in world football today.
